a live spectacular show featuring Italian Songs

Starring Italian Promising Singer Daniele Coletta as special guest

For the third year running, Spiteri Lucas Entertainment and Hermann Bonaci Productions have kept their annual joint-production appointment with the Maltese public, to put up “DIPINTO DI BLU” - a live spectacular show featuring Italian pop songs from different periods of time. This new music production will be staged on Saturday 14^th March at 7.30pm and Sunday 15^th March at 5.30pm, at the Catholic Insitute Theatre in Floriana.

Dipinto di Blù compiles a varied repertoire that appeals to different generations. The show features songs by legendary Italian artists, both from the past and the present such as Giorgia, Andrea Bocelli, Laura Pausini and Eros as well as Gianni Morandi, Albano, Lucio Battisti, Marcella Bella, Gigi D’Alessio and Mia Martini. Hit numbers like Come Saprei, Sapore di Sale, Margherita, Vivo Per Lei, La Solitudine, Adesso Tu, In Amore, Montagne Verdi and Almeno Tu Nell’Universo together with Domenico Modugno’s classic hit Nel Blù Dipinto di Blù, just to mention a few, feature prominently in this production. The song-list also include a couple of Neapolitan standards such as O Sole Mio and Funiculi Funicula.

For this musical show, Spiteri Lucas Entertainment and Hermann Bonaci Productions, have assembled a star studded cast with versatile artists like Ludwig Galea, Neville Refalo, Nadine Axisa, Natasha and Charlene Grima, Ivan Spiteri Lucas, Sandro Cassar, Adrienne Azzopardi, Julia Grima and Brooke Borg amongst others.

Special Guest for the show will be Italian promising singer, Daniele Coletta who last year was resident singer during Rai Uno’s successful show “Ti Lascio Una Canzone”, hosted by Antonella Clerici, and more recently was invited to show his vocal talent during Rai’s daily afternoon programme, “Festa Italiana”.

All artists will be accompanied by a live seven piece band under the direction of popular musical director Mark Spiteri Lucas who is also responsible for all the musical arrangements to be performed throughout the show. Celaine Buhagiar together with her Dancel Dance Troupe who have already performed in successful productions such as Golden Oldies (2006), Flashback and The Legends of Music (2007) and Welcome to Holywood (2008) are responsible for choreography. 

Dipinto Di Blù also coincides with the year in which Spiteri Lucas Entertainment is celebrating its fifth year of existence. A company, that although is still young, has produced several innovative and spectacular music productions during these last years.
