“WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD”

(A unique spectacular live show on the 19^th and 20^th April)

After obtaining considerable success in their respective fields, Spiteri Lucas Entertainment and Hermann Bonaci Productions have joined forces to put up “WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD” – a live spectacular show featuring songs and music hits from blockbuster movies, to be staged on Saturday 19^th April at 7.30pm and Sunday 20^th April at 7.00pm, at the newly refurbished Catholic Insitute Theatre in Floriana.

Preparations for this show are in full swing, and this production promises to be one of the most spectacular live shows for this theatrical season.

“WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD” will feature some of the most popular songs and soundtracks ever produced in major blockbuster movies.

An experienced and talented cast made up of some of Malta’s best performers at the moment, will take the audience on a journey which goes back as early as the late 30s with the evergreen song “Over the Rainbow” from hit movie The Wizard of Oz, and continues with songs from unforgettable movies such as “Casablanca”, “The Sound of Music”, “James Bond – 007”, “Singin’ in the Rain”, “Oklahoma”, “Rocky”, “Saturday Night Fever”, “An Officer and a Gentleman”, “The Mask of Zorro”, “Armageddon”, “Pearl Harbour”, and “Moulin Rouge” just to mention a few.   

For this musical show, Spiteri Lucas Entertainment and Herman Bonaci Productions, have assembled a star studded cast with versatile artists like J. Anvil, Priscilla, Sandro Cassar, Debbie Scerri, Nadine Axisa, Ludwig Galea, Christabelle Curmi, Ivan Spiteri Lucas, Julia Grima and Hermann Bonaci amongst others. All artists will be accompanied by a live seven piece band under the direction of popular musical director Mark Spiteri Lucas who is also responsible for all the musical arrangements to be performed throughout the show. Celaine Buhagiar together with her Dancel Dance Troupe who have already performed in successful productions such as Golden Oldies (2006), Flashback and The Legends of Music (2007) are responsible for choreography.
