As the end of summer is fast approaching, the countdown for the most popular Saturday afternoon TV show has started. “Sas-Sitta” will go on air as from Saturday 4th October from 15.00hrs till 18.00hrs on Family TV.
Following last year’s successful run, Spiteri Lucas Entertainment, the production company behind “Sas-Sitta” is busy preparing for another season full of entertainment, information, competitions and fun for all the family. Although the concept of “Sas-Sitta” hasl remained that of presenting live entertainment and information for all the family, this year’s edition will see some minor changes. “Sas-Sitta” will also feature the Mark Spiteri Lucas Show Band together with versatile resident singers including There will also be humorous acts by popular comedian Fabian Scerri de Carlo, better known for his interpretation of the ever popular character, l-Avukat Gawdenz Bilocca.
Competitions and prizes have always had an important role in “Sas-Sitta”. This year televiewers will get the chance to win various thousands of liri in prizes, ranging from dinners, goods and services, weekend breaks as well as holiday packages in Among the new spots that Spiteri Lucas Entertainment will be introducing during this year’s “Sas-Sitta”, there is “Hin it-Te”, presenting televiewes with delicious recipes of deserts, cakes and some tips for tea-time, and the Teen Singing Challenge, in which teenage singers will by competing in a live singing knock-out series accompanied by the programme’s band with various prizes up for the grabs. Other interesting spots include KidsZone with Rutella, Drake and Haag from Curtain Raiser Theatre Group, cultural spots and general knowledge, personality-gossip, religious corner, fashion as well as sports updates for the sports enthusiasts.
